Raline Shah

Raline Shah rose to fame when she appeared as a contestant in national beauty contest Puteri Indonesia in 2008. Although she only made it to the final five, she was selected as the voters’ choice, which jump-started her career in cinema. In 2015, Shah starred in Surga yang Tak Dirindukan and won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Bandung Film Festival and the Indonesian Box Office Movie Awards.

However, she is also making waves for her philanthropic ventures. Shah co-founded Rumah Harapan Indonesia, a transit home that helps children with critical illnesses. She also collaborated with 3 Little Angels to launch the “Love ReSolution” project, which seeks to raise funds for critically ill children. In 2018, she co-founded Yayasan Tunas Bakti Nusantara, a charity organisation to develop support for education, health and welfare in the most remote regions of Indonesia.

Shah’s passion for advocacy comes from her mother Roseline, who is also active in philanthropy. Her father, Rahmat Shah, is an entrepreneur who served as a senator for Indonesia. She graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Political Science and New Media Communication.
