A passionate advocate for healthy living, Raja Jesrina Arshad had a wealth of experience as a lead digital strategist at Astro Malaysia Holdings and Mindshare Malaysia, before co-founding PurelyB alongside her business partner Stephanie Looi in 2015. An all in one platform for health and wellness, PurelyB operates a portal and guide for nutrition, fitness, and wellness needs, while also providing information about healthy restaurants and stores in Asia, as well as meal plans, and more. The brand expanded exponentially and even began producing television content, aside from helping other small local businesses within the health and wellness industry. PurelyB was included in the Red Herring International’s Top 100 Startups in Asia in 2016– a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures in Asia. Soon after, PurelyB was selected to be one of only 20 Malaysian startups for the e@Stanford Entrepreneurship Program at Stanford University the same year. For all of her achievements, Raja was listed by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation as one of the top five local female entrepreneurs.
