Working with one’s best friend has its challenges. Raj Datwani (pictured left) claims to have almost been punched by his business partner Alex Chew while the two were debating the inclusion of chicken rice in their restaurant Bacchanalia’s first menu. However, the New York-born entrepreneur, who was previously a director of AR Restaurant Group and executive producer and partner of electronic dance music festival, Ultra Singapore, also credits their like‑mindedness and trust in each other for giving life to their bold visions.
