A graduate of the Renmin University of China, Qu Meng went to the UK for postgraduate studies where she obtained a master’s degree in mass media from the University of Leicester. Out of her love for films and with years of study in the field, Meng returned to China and established A Production Pictures in 2015. The company is mainly engaged in the production of film and television works. Since its establishment, it has worked on art film August, which won Best Feature Film at the 53th Golden Horse Award Ceremony in 2016, the hilarious comedy Revenge for Love starring Yue Yunpeng and Yuan Shanshan, and the youth-themed web series Forever Young, to name a few. Meng is also a member of NGCC, a well-known young enterprise leaders’ organisation in China, through which she aspires to contribute to society.
