Benefiting countless women, biochemist and WomenX Biotech founder Dr Pui-wah Choi has developed state-of-the-art sanitary pads under the La Rosée brand. The big news in her company’s portfolio, however, is PadX, a sanitary pad that detects HPV (human papillomavirus) with 99.2 per cent accuracy. A non-invasive and less costly option than the Pap smear, it redefines the approach to the diagnosis of women’s diseases.
