Precious Paula Nicole leapt to national consciousness when she became the winner of the inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines. But the artist, born Rodolfo Hontiveros Gabriel II, has been performing drag for more than a decade. Since her win, she has started the Precious Foundation, which aims to build a permanent home and sustainable livelihood for The Golden Gays, a community supporting marginalised, older gay individuals in the Philippines.
