An actor with an enduring career, Piolo Pascual constantly pushes the boundaries of his craft

A stalwart of Philippine entertainment, Piolo Pascual has built a career defined by longevity, versatility, and reinvention. From his breakout role in Esperanza (1997) to acclaimed performances in Dekada ’70 (2002) and Mallari (2023)—for which he won Best Actor at the FAMAS Awards—Pascual has consistently proven his mastery across genres and mediums. Beyond acting, he has achieved triple platinum success in music and continues to shape the industry through his production company, Spring Films, behind hits such as Kita Kita and My Amanda.

In 2025, Pascual reached new heights with his critically lauded performance as Sulayman “Sulo” Tagum in The Kingdom, earning him the Philippine National Winner for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. The film also garnered him the Box Office Hero Award at the Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards and the Film Actor of the Year honour at the 53rd Box Office Entertainment Awards, which he shared with co-star Vic Sotto. He was further recognised with the Hall of Fame (Best Actor) distinction at the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards 2025, cementing his legacy as one of the nation’s most enduring talents.

This year also marked Pascual’s return to Star Cinema with Meet, Greet & Bye, a US concert tour with his son Iñigo, and new ventures into action films like The Ride—proving that for Piolo Pascual, evolution remains his greatest hallmark.
