Peter Tay

Interior designer Peter Tay’s calling card is a sleek, luxurious aesthetic, which has resonated with celebrity clients such as Zhang Ziyi, Wang Leehom, Zoe Tay and Stefanie Sun. Known for seamlessly combining interior and external spaces and a timeless, contemporary approach, Tay was named ‘Designer of the Year’ at the President’s Design Awards 2014.

Tay’s portfolio includes luxury residential properties, show flats, as well as high-end boutiques. He has put his touch on show flats for Guocoland, Hotel Properties and SC Global, along with showrooms for brands such as Manolo Blahnik, Richard Mille and Armani Casa. Tay’s signature use of polished surfaces and glass helps to visually extend spaces and mirror picturesque views, lending an air of understated sophistication.

Tay, who started his eponymous practice in 2001, is a graduate of London’s Architectural Association School of Architecture. He has lectured at various design institutions, and published his first monograph, Peter Tay, in Singapore, Hong Kong and Kyoto in 2013.
