ShiyinRung Pan graduated from the Graduate Institute of Building and Planning at National Taiwan University. He met his co-founders Jerry Wang and Spencer Ke when he transformed the parlour of his rented apartment into a public space where friends could gather. Instead of defining itself as a house-renting agency, 9Floor considers itself an operator and network of shared spaces and co-living environments in which to develop relationships. 9Floor was selected to represent Taiwan of Asian Network for Young Social Entrepreneurs (AYNSE) in Seoul in 2016 and won the Asia Social Innovation Award in Hong Kong in 2017. In its third year of operation, 9Floor received seed funding led by B Current Impact Investment Inc., enabling it to move to the next stage of development and shift its focus to making operational plans for large single-family properties.
