Co-founder and CEO, ION Energy
For accelerating Thailand's clean energy transition through accessible solar technology infrastructure
Pete Peerakarn Manakit is a clean-energy entrepreneur creating new pathways for Thai households and businesses to access solar power in a more practical and tangible way. Under his leadership, ION Energy raised US$3 million in Series A funding in 2024, before continuing its growth trajectory. By 2026, the company had completed more than 6,500 solar installations, representing a total generation capacity of 60 megawatts, and was acquired by Bangkok Cable as part of its strategic move into Thailand’s solar rooftop market, estimated to be worth around 100 billion baht. His work reflects a pivotal role in making clean energy not merely a vision of the future, but an accessible infrastructure for everyday life.
