Designer
Before Patrick Owen became the notable fashion designer he is today, he worked with the legal team of PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a merger-and-acquisition analyst with Goldman Sachs. Finally, he taught himself the foundations of fashion and design, and launched his first collection in 2012.
Owen’s eclectic style, mixing sophistication with street elements, has risen to prominence and become a fixture in Indonesian pop culture. His work has appeared in Nylon, Grazia, Marie Claire, Elle, Schön and Harper’s Bazaar. Patrick won the Australia-Indonesia Fashion Designer Prize, and showcased his work in the 2015 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and the 2017 Amazon Fashion Week in Tokyo.
Owen has also partnered with Disney Indonesia for a special womenswear capsule collection called “Minnie Rocks the Dots”. He is also known to cross mediums, working with sculptors and painters to create his pieces.

Owen’s latest collection, called #PatrickOwenQuarantineDiary2020, is a series of graphic tees featuring puns about life in quarantine. He worked with Habitat for Humanity for this project, whose proceeds were donated to pandemic frontline workers.
