Patricia Eustaquio. Patricia (b. 1977) is a leading contemporary artist known for exploring “vanitas’, or notions surrounding the integrity of appearances and the vanity of objects. The Magna Cum Laude graduate from University of Philippines Dilman Magna Cum Laude uses painting, drawing, and installation to convey a keen sensitivity to both her roots and environs, producing evocative pieces that are exhibited around the globe. The multi-medium artist is a mainstay at the Silverlens Gallery in Manila, but has also exhibited and taken up residencies worldwide. For example, she displayed a commissioned installation at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris 2016. Additionally, her works have been featured in some of the most important events in the art world, including Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Taipei, as well as the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design in Manila and Tyler Rollins Fine Art in New York. Some of her awards include the Thirteen Artists Award from the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2009, and the Art Omi Residency in Ghent, New York in 2010.
