This free spirit discovered her fixation with Siam gold and precious gems at a young age, crafting her first costume jewellery at 13. Born into an illustrious clan, her designs draw inspiration from her family’s story and legacy, along with nature and anatomy. She studied Jewelry Design at Central Saint Martins in 2010 before returning to Bangkok to start her own line. Her eponymous brand, Patcharavipa (2014), fuses traditional Thai craftsmanship with modern techniques, while aesthetically putting on display the designer’s fascination with natural materials, textures and silhouettes. Her pieces are a “joyous celebration of unusual textures, unapologetic in scale and raw human emotion”, and are sold in Hong Kong, London and New York. With headquarters in London and Bangkok, her career highlight was debuting in the international market, and launching a showroom in Paris after a special presentation at Paris Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2017.
