Parag Khanna is a global authority on artificial intelligence and geopolitics, and the founder of FutureMap, a data- and scenario-based strategic advisory firm. Based in Singapore, he is a regular adviser to various global organisations, corporate executives and government leaders, and a regular speaker at international conferences.

Khanna has served as adviser to the US National Intelligence Council’s Global Trends 2030 programme, and senior geopolitical adviser to United States Special Operations Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2007. He has written numerous books on the forces shaping the world and the future of the world order, the latest of which is Move: The Forces Uprooting Us released in October 2021. He is also a regular contributor to publications such as The New York Times Magazine, TIME magazine and Harvard Business Review, and a guest on broadcast media networks such as CNN, BBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera. 

In 2022, Khanna partnered with Moovaz as its chief futurist, advising the Singapore-based company on its use of “relocation technology” to help make the moving process easier for global talent.

A Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum,  Khanna holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and both bachelor and Master’s degrees from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He is married to Ayesha Khanna, chief executive and co-founder of data-strategy firm Addo AI.
