Paj Rodriguez is lauded as the “Filipino Tony Stark”. Whether it’s the sale of an aircraft, an aircraft charter, or an Emerald Class subscription (a concept he created for the Asian Aerospace’s Timeshare Program), Paj has plenty up in the air these days and that’s a great thing. The family business, Asian Aerospace Corporation, of which Paj is EVP, has 27 planes and helicopters, including the Gulfstream Business Jets, the “Rolls-Royce of business jets”. It is the foremost aviation company in the Philippines handling aircraft sales, leasing, charters, maintenance, ground handling and logistics. He is most proud of his Timeshare Membership, where clients can access the company’s fleet and fly to any part of the world at a moment’s notice. Additionally, he has launched Air Taxi in 2016, which allows clients to escape the land traffic hassle-free, whether for businesses, leisure, medical, or disaster relief purposes. And if that’s isn’t enough airspace to handle, he also sits as CEO of the Universal Weather and Aviation Philippines, Inc. (UWAPI). Paj is in fact rather chuffed about having established Asian Aerospace’s joint venture for UWAPI: “It took a lot of time, but it’s finally here!” he said.
