If you are a follower of Nurul on Instagram, you would immediately assume that she is a people person by default, but not quite. “My social skills is something I picked up along the way in my journey with Mimpikita,” admits this self-professed introvert, who is also the head designer for this wildly popular local fashion brand. Together with her business-trained sisters Amirah Hanis and Fatimah Ani Syahira, Nurul worked tirelessly over the past decade to take Mimpikita from a blogshop project to a global fashion player. To date, Mimpikita has been showcased in London Fashion Week and has taken part in more global shows around the world, the recent being the Islamic Fashion & Design Council event in Dubai.
