Director and screenwriter Kai Nottapon Boonprakob is reshaping Thailand's presence on global streaming services. Building on a body of documentary work shaped by character-driven narratives and a deeply human lens, he has moved into larger-screen storytelling with works that speak to a wider audience. These include Netflix’s business drama series Mad Unicorn (2025), which won Best Screenplay at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, and most recently the gripping courtroom drama The Evil Lawyer (2026), which reached No 4 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 for non-English series.
