Hailing from one of Indonesia’s poorest districts, in Central Java, Nofi Bayu Darmawan set up Komerce to provide local youth with worthwhile employment options in digital marketing. The company offers an end-to-end e-commerce service aimed at local small businesses, offering them customer service staff, an order shipping platform and fulfilment management; so far more than 14,000 have signed up. It was named a Top Innovator 2021 by the World Economic Forum.
