Nico Bolzico

CEO & president, LM10

Tatler Asia
Many know him as a social media superstar, but entrepreneur Nico Bolzico has loftier ambitions: namely, to advance Philippine agriculture through modern technology

It takes guts to drop everything and build your own company from the ground up, let alone leave your homeland and travel across the world to set it up in another country. But if there’s anything Nico Bolzico took with him from Argentina, it’s a clear vision — and his is one with deep roots, stemming from a childhood raised on a farm.

“We came here with a vision of efficiency; of making agriculture commercially viable, to make it better,” Bolzico says.

Under Bolzico’s leadership, LM10 works toward Philippine food self-sufficiency. Investing in agribusiness machinery is just one of the things they do, alongside promoting sustainable waste recycling and advising farmers to maximize land productivity and livestock management through data. Leading by example, Bolzico goes to the literal field himself to help assess idle lands for farm development potential.

“[Food self-sufficiency is] not a vision, that’s an objective,” he says. “The vision must be about helping people.”
