Entertainer, Wish You a Good Life

The versatile entertainer's fashion sense shows his deep understanding of street fashion

Art director, singer, actor, and DJ Nick Chou comes from a celebrity family. At the age of 14, he featured in his mother Billie Wang’s album and rapped in one of her songs. After graduating from junior high school, he went to study in the US and began his musical education. When he was 21 years old, he was catapulted into fame for playing the protagonist in famous singer Jolin Tsai’s music video, “Real Man” (大丈夫) where he also showcased his rap skills. Nick released his eponymous debut album in 2010, and its music videos—including one for his popular song “So Handsome That We Broke Up” (帥到分手)—hit more than 123 million views on YouTube.

In 2021, he stepped into the design world. His creative company Wish You A Good Life worked with The Remade, a well-known sneaker customiser, to design limited-edition Nike shoes with only 80 pairs available, making him the first Taiwanese celebrity to release customised shoes. With his multifaceted creative design brand, Nick has moved from showbiz to the fashion world.

“Simple and comfortable—that's my type.”
