With a life revolved around food, Nicholas Ng has helped change the Singaporean dialogue around food as co-founder of The Food Bank Singapore, alongside his sister Nichol in 2012. A non-profit that distributes food to the needy, The Food Bank Singapore has been trying to bridge the gap between food insecurity and food waste. Additionally, he is director at his family's food distribution and services company X-Inc and its five subsidiaries. In the last few years, The Food Bank has grown enormously—it receives an average of 60 tonnes of food donations every month, which is then distributed to 168 charity organizations.
