An accomplished venture capitalist behind the advancement of many companies across Southeast Asia, Nicholas Bloy has spent his career in Asia

Nicholas Bloy is one of the co-founders and a managing partner of Navis Capital Partners, known for leading many of his firm’s investments. Navis was established in 1998 and now manages more than US$5 billion in private and public equity funds.

After spending his formative years in England and France, and graduating from University College in London with an MBA from INSEAD in France, Bloy spent much of his life and career in Asia. Before he co-founded Navis, he was with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he held various positions including managing partner in the Kuala Lumpur office, head of its energy and utilities practice in Asia, and head of its Asia marketing committee.

While working at BCG, Bloy met Richard Foyston and Rodney Muse who shared his belief in the untapped potential of Southeast Asia. In 1998, they founded Navis, which was established on the basis of their extensive consulting and professional experience in different sectors in the region.

Over the last two decades, the firm has successfully made more than 80 investments in the consumer goods, food, industrial goods and services sectors in Southeast Asia. Along the way, Navis has acquired an impressive list of investors from US and European pension funds to high-net-worth individuals.
