Making it her mission to reduce food waste, Nichol Ng has helped change the Singaporean dialogue around food as co-founder of The Food Bank Singapore, alongside her brother in 2012. A non-profit that distributes food to the needy, The Food Bank Singapore has been trying to bridge the gap between food insecurity and food waste. Additionally, she is group CEO of her family's food distribution and services company X-Inc and its five subsidiaries. Thinking about food advocacy from a mental health perspective, Nichol has become more vocal about her struggle with bulimic in the hopes of creating a greater dialogue on various forms of interactions with food.
