Nguyen Quang Hai

Quang Hai’s rise to prominence began at an early age. He was part of the Vietnamese squad that secured runner-up finishes at the Southeast Asian U19 Football Championship in both 2014 and 2015, before captaining the national team at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. His breakthrough came in 2018 when he scored five goals in Vietnam’s historic journey to the AFC U-23 Championship final. That same year, he played a pivotal role in the Vietnam Olympic football team and was named in the tournament’s best XI.

In 2018, he lifted the AFF Suzuki Cup with the national team and was awarded the prestigious Vietnam Golden Ball. His success continued with a gold medal in men’s football at the 2019 SEA Games, and he was later crowned Best Male Player of the Year by the ASEAN Football Federation.

A true icon of Vietnamese football, Nguyen Quang Hai continues to inspire the next generation with his achievements on and off the pitch.
