Researcher and lecturer in aviation at the University of Bristol, with numerous publications in prestigious scientific journals and international conferences

In 2019, Nguyen Huyen Duc graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol and successfully defended his doctoral thesis there in 2021. His primary research interests lie in aircraft dynamics and automatic control, particularly in the production of composite materials for the aerospace and aviation industries. He is also dedicated to applying branching methods and dynamic systems to address complex aviation challenges.

At the end of 2022, he became the first Vietnamese recipient of the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Young Persons' Achievement Award, which recognises outstanding contributions by young professionals in aviation. Speaking to the University of Bristol, he expressed his ambition to continue researching solutions to the pressing environmental and climate challenges facing the aviation industry.

I hope future generations will inherit the steadfast spirit to face the challenges of tomorrow. Success may come by chance, but the Vietnamese tradition of valuing education, overcoming adversity, and fostering creativity is something no international investment fund can provide
