Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing, is the visionary entrepreneur who laid the foundation for SkyWorld Development, formerly known as NTP World Development, back in 2006. This marked the inception of his remarkable journey into the world of property development.

From humble beginnings in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, Ng embarked on his corporate career as a conference producer. This initial step led him to establish his first company, NTP World Forum, which astoundingly became Malaysia’s largest training provider within a mere three years of its existence.

With unwavering determination, Ng transitioned into the realm of property development, a decision that has proven to be nothing short of transformative. SkyWorld’s inaugural project, Ascenda Residences @ SkyArena, Setapak, was unveiled in October 2014, boasting a remarkable gross development value of RM399 million and a staggering 96 percent sell-through rate.

In a momentous achievement, the company successfully raised RM320 million in its initial public offering (IPO) on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, ranking as the third-largest IPO of the year.

SkyWorld prepares to launch ten new developments in the vibrant Klang Valley, with an impressive total gross development value exceeding RM4 billion. On top of that, SkyWorld has embarked on an exciting journey of regional expansion as well into Vietnam.

Beyond the property development realm, Ng has left an indelible mark as one of the founders of The Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall and as the chairman of the National Polytechnic Youth Association. He further extends his influence through the NTP World Foundation, a noble initiative designed to provide essential resources and educational support to underprivileged communities.
