A storyteller who prefers a visual medium, rising star Nakrob Moonmanas combines his love of history, mythology, royal court life and intersecting cultures to create arresting collage art. His East-meets-West creations often draw inspiration from classic images, combining Millais or Rembrandt with Thai mythological figures. The past 18 months have seen him exhibiting widely, taking commissions from luxury brands and getting selected for an artist residency at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
