Moira dela Torre

Singer

A multi-platinum recording artist and powerful storyteller that uses music and social media to amplify Original Pilipino Music (OPM)

In 2013, Moira Dela Torre was a hopeful talent that turned the seat of Apl.d.ap on The Voice Philippines. She didn’t win the reality TV show but won the country’s 2017 Himig Handog song writing competition instead. In 2019, she became one of the highly-respected judges in Idol Philippines.

The young artist transformed her career from lending her voice to commercials and topping the charts of most streamed artists in the Philippines.

The Black Eyed Peas coach was not the only international artist she captivated with her angelic serenades. The Danish singer Maximillian brought Dela Torre on the track of his hit single Beautiful Scars in 2019, which overjoyed his Filipino fan base and introduced the rising star to the rest of the world. Through the pandemic, Dela Torre announced yet another collaboration with a foreign artist, Pink Sweat$, whose pop and R&B song 17 remixed her cool vocals.

Dela Torre’s own albums Malaya and Patawad hit the multi-platinum marks, revealing her own tenacity as a singer-songwriter in the modern age. It’s unchallenged across the industry that she is reviving OPM and bringing her homegrown talent to the world.
