Mohd Nizam Abdul Razak

Mohd Nizam Abdul Razak is the founder and creative force behind Monsta, the studio responsible for some of Malaysia’s most successful animated franchises. After helping shape Upin & Ipin early in his career, he went on to create BoBoiBoy, a homegrown phenomenon that has grown into a regional franchise with international distribution across multiple markets. In 2025, Nizam achieved his biggest commercial success yet with Papa Zola The Movie, which grossed RM68.2 million and attracted 4.4 million viewers across Southeast Asia. Under his leadership, Monsta also won four major honours at the AHIN 2026 awards, cementing its status as a leader in Malaysian intellectual property.
