Datuk Michael Tang

Datuk Michael Tang is the principal and founder of Mettiz Capital, a private equity and alternative investment firm with interests in natural resources, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare and technology, amongst others.

A lawyer by training, Tang was a partner at one of the oldest and largest law firms in Malaysia before venturing into investments. Through Mettiz, Tang invests in natural resources globally and across various sectors in Asia Pacific. More recently, he has co-founded the leading private cardiac hospital CVSKL, Medic 360 medical group, and green automated warehouse developer Exio Logistics.

Beyond the business sphere, he contributes significantly to the development of sports in Malaysia as trustee of the Olympic Council and treasurer of the Badminton Association.
