Michael Cinco

Michael Cinco’s luxurious designs have adorned the likes of models and celebrities, gracing the Miss Universe pageant, dazzling the runways of Paris Fashion Week, featuring on the covers of prestigious magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, and even making appearances on the popular reality television series America’s Next Top Model. Michael Cinco’s opulent signature style is highly coveted internationally, solidifying his esteemed status in the Filipino fashion industry. Based in Dubai, the epicentre of opulence and luxury in the Middle East, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his breathtaking creations.

Born in Samar, Philippines, Cinco moved to Dubai in 1997 and launched his fashion line in 2003. The University of the Philippines Fine Arts graduate immersed himself in the elegance of Paris and London in between, where he was enrolled at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Cinco has been sashaying at the top of the fashion industry since. His designs, inspired by classic Hollywood films and iconic actors like Audrey Hepburn, are characterised by vibrant colours, intricate patterns and Swarovski crystals. He has dressed superstars such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Nicki Minaj.

For many years, he has dressed celebrities for the Cannes Film Festival. In 2023, he collaborated with Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who wore a butterfly-inspired dress that took 3,000 hours to craft. His latest spring-summer 2025 runway show at Paris Fashion Week showcased Filipino-inspired terno sleeves in his emblematic brocade.
