After joining the company as its only accountant back in 2012, Melissa Siska Juminto has gradually risen to the top of Tokopedia, one of Indonesia’s largest e-commerce operators, becoming its president in 2023. She is also director and chief human resources officer at GoTo, the joint entity that was formed when Tokopedia and its former rival Gojek merged in 2021. Melissa has introduced a range of policies at the companies to promote workplace gender equality.
