Matthew Zeng’s agency Dstnct has made public sector advertising fun. Its distinctive approach was exemplified by its award-winning Waste Cafe campaign for Singapore’s National Environment Agency, which was a pop-up that operated until it was filled with waste—after just five hours. The agency also released a documentary series for the Ministry of Communications and Information that provided unprecedented insight into the workings of the Singapore government.
