When Harvard Business School graduate Matthew Guilford founded Common Health, he was looking for a way to help the world’s poorest 1.5 billion people, who face a US$176 billion gap in their ability to pay for essential health services in the years to come. His solution was to use digital and mobile technology to expand health coverage, deploy new payment modes and improve health literacy.
