Mary Huen

The CEO of Standard Chartered Hong Kong, as well as its cluster CEO of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, Mary Huen has worked for the bank since 1991, and has been on its Hong Kong board since 2016. During her time at the helm, she has accelerated its adoption of digital channels; she is also the chairperson of Mox Bank, Standard Chartered’s Hong Kong virtual bank.

Huen holds a wide range of other roles in the banking industry, including vice chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of Banks, vice president of the council of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, council member of the Treasury Markets Association, and member of various Hong Kong Monetary Authority committees; as well as many official roles outside the industry, including board member of the Community Chest of Hong Kong, the Hospital Authority and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and a member of several Hong Kong Trade Development Council committees.
