Fabelio, a major furniture producer launched in Indonesia and soon to operate across Southeast Asia, aims to create beautifully made furniture that’s built to last and sold at an affordable price. Its CEO Marshall Tegar Utoyo takes charge of the company’s designs, working with small and medium- sized producers to drive down costs. In 2020, Fabelio raised US$9 million as part of its Series C funding round. In 2022, the company declared bankruptcy reportedly due to the Covid-19 pandemic's impact on business.
