Mark Sultan Gersava

The son of a farmer displaced by conflict in his native island of Mindanao, Mark Sultan Gersava makes products that benefit farmers and the planet alike. A former food scientist, the flagship product of Mark’s company, Bambuhay, are bamboo toothbrushes with a seed of a native tree inside them, meaning they can be planted after use. It also makes other bamboo products such as straws and air fresheners.
