Veteran hotelier Mark Liu is the driving force behind the Taipei Marriott Hotel, the Marriott Hotel Groups’ foray into mixed-use real estate in Taiwan. Having had over 10 years of experience before taking on the role, Liu proved his mettle with every Taipei Marriot milestone since it opened in 2015.

The Taipei Marriot Hotel combines a hotel, convention center, shopping mall, and high-end residences. It holds large-scale international conventions including the Presidential Inauguration State Banquet and the Ad Asia Advertising Conference, which drew more than 1,000 attendees.

Adding to Liu’s accomplishments is the seamless and pioneering integration of luxury residences into the five-star hotel’s portfolio. The Taipei Marriott Hotel provides a full range of hotel-style services to its residences and other perks to make the long-term “guests” feel cared for, such as a weekend buffet breakfast.
