Marcel Crespo is one of the most prominent names in the Philippine art scene, a patron and an industry insider with considerable influence both locally and internationally. His personal collection is well-regarded and often exhibited by prestigious institutions globally. Crespo has been a patron of Ateneo Art Gallery, Manila, and has been an instrumental figure for the Ateneo Art Awards Grant.

He has also been part of the advisory group for Art SG and for the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design in Manila. Crespo takes particular pride in working with Filipino artists, connecting them to do shows around the world, to move the Filipino art scene forward.
