Mae Coyiuto

Mae Coyiuto is best known as the author of Chloe and the Kaishao Boys, published by Penguin Random House. The romantic comedy tells the tale of a teenage girl of Chinese-Philippine heritage—like Mae—whose father sets her up on a series of dates in a bid to prevent her from going to college overseas. The book was named one of the New York Public Library’s Best Books of 2023. The young adult fiction author is working on her second novel, which she hopes to release in 2025.
