Luu Viet Thang

Dr. Arch. Luu Viet Thang is one of the leading experts in the field of interior design in Vietnam. He is the founder of Hexagon Group Design Joint Stock Company and currently serves as the Head of the Department of Interior and Exterior Design at Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts.

In his academic and administrative roles, he has organized numerous seminars and in-depth activities on design, architecture, and interiors, focusing on themes such as culture, education, and sustainable design. Dr. Thang is also the founder of the Young Interior Designers Community of Vietnam (YIDC), a platform dedicated to training and networking for students and young designers nationwide. In his capacity as Chief of Office of the Vietnam Interior Association (VIA), he continues to contribute to the development of the community and professional activities within the industry.

In 2025, Dr. Arch. Luu Viet Thang was honored as the “Design Educator of the Year” at the APSDA Awards, recognizing his outstanding contributions to design education.
