Lutfi lived among impoverished communities for three years when he was a medical student in Bandung, Indonesia, inspiring him to dedicate himself to providing healthcare to the less fortunate. Today, he oversees the operations of his nonprofit Hospitals Beyond Boundaries, which builds healthcare facilities staffed by volunteer doctors in underserved communities.
