Before she turned 20, Lu Xiaofei had travelled to more than 20 countries. Graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York, it was always travel that was Lu’s passion. She journeyed from Israel to Palestine, and later to Egypt to watch the sunset on Mount Sinai. She went to Alaska to see the aurora on a sleigh and travelled alone in Peru for half a month. In 2014, after giving up work as an American fashion brand consultant, Xiaofei returned to China and established travel technology company Lushu Technology, in the hope of building a new business integrating culture, travel and technology. Lushu Technology, which is solely funded by Hong Kong-based investment institution Keywise Capital Management Limited (Keywise Capital), completed its series A funding of tens of millions of RMB in 2017. It develops customised travel services in an all-round way, providing information about global destinations, and acting as a route planning system and travel management platform.
