Lorenzo Antinori

The former beverage manager of Argo at the Four Seasons, Lorenzo Antinori branched out on his own in 2023 to open Bar Leone, a spot inspired by his hometown of Rome. It proved wise: the venue has since topped “best bar” lists beyond the city’s borders.

Driven by his philosophy of cocktail popolari—“cocktails for the people”—the venue’s international acclaim rests on unpretentious Roman warmth and classic craft. Building on this momentum, Antinori opened Bar Leone Shanghai in November 2025, before partnering with Qatar Airways as global mixologist consultant in 2026.
