Though she is still open to local projects, Liza Soberano is prioritising her international career at the moment. She has also signed up with James Reid’s music label, Careless Music, and started her bid for international stardom. Though most may see this as the most considerable career risk, Soberano has become popular as she introduces herself to the world.

Soberano recognises that making it big in the US and beyond is all about who you know, so the actress embarked on a networking spree. She was seen in Korea with K-pop celebrities IVE and iKON’s DK. She partied with Filipino-American influencers Bella Poarch and Bretman Rock in Hawaii. After meeting Zelda Williams, daughter of the late comedian Robin Williams and film producer Marsha Garces Williams, in Los Angeles, Soberano was cast in Zelda’s directorial debut, Lisa Frankenstein, joining a solid ensemble that includes Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse and Big Little Lies’ Kathryn Newton.

In 2023, Soberano made headlines for attending Milan Fashion Week in Prada. She also unveiled her new YouTube series, Liza, in Korea. Produced by JJ Global Group, the 15-part travelogue is set to take Filipinos on a journey through the country. Soberano has started learning the Korean language to explore new opportunities and is also planning to open her production company.
