Tasha Liu is the co-founder of DONG/LIANG, a concept store that advocates local avant-garde design in China and builds effective links between Chinese young designers and fashion-forward consumers. DONG/LIANG formed relationships with H.Lorenzo, a boutique in Los Angeles, international e-commerce fashion platform Farfetch.com and online accommodation platform Airbnb. In addition, DONG/LIANG was the first Chinese boutique to be invited to participate in London Fashion Week, going on to establish its own initiative DONG/LIANG’s ONE DAY at Shanghai Fashion Week to introduce the latest pieces from its designers. In 2014, Tasha Liu was awarded the British Council's Young Creative Entrepreneur Fashion/Design Award. In April 2016, she established Labelhood, a community of avant-garde fashion labels and talents that presents designs at Shanghai Fashion Week. Over the past three seasons Labelhood has held 60 fashion shows for various designers, attracting audiences of more than 30,000 people.
