Liam Liu is one of the most popular musical actors in China. Since he graduated from the Music Theatre Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2008, he has acted in many large-scale musicals, film and television works. His roles have included the passionate Rum Tum Tugger in the musical Cats (Chinese version), the lead in Dracula (Chinese version), the chief of a Moon Worshiping Cult in the live theatre production of Chinese Paladin, and Zhou Mengjun in the Chinese original musical Love U Teresa, to name a few. In 2017, Liam played the roles of Jekyll and Hyde in the adapted Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde, which met with great acclaim from musical fans and industry insiders alike.
