Lim Hong Lian is the founder and principal partner of LTW Designworks, an award-winning design studio that collaborates with leading hospitality operators and luxury hoteliers in Asia Pacific and beyond. The practice, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2020, counts Shangri-La, St Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, JW Marriott and Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts as its clients. Each of their projects sports a distinctive yet contemporary look, guided by the hotel’s brand ethos and the unique location.

Lim started his design career working in the hospitality industry in London. He then moved to Singapore to work with Chhada Siembieda & Associates, growing the firm’s luxury hotel portfolio before founding H.L. Lim & Associates in 1991. H.L. Lim & Associates was subsequently renamed LTW Designworks. Today, the firm has satellite offices in Shanghai, and Beijing, and has designed over 100 properties on five continents.

LTW Designworks has also clinched various accolades from Ahead Asia and the Interior Design Confederation Singapore for its work on the Four Seasons Seoul, the Grand Hyatt Xian and the Kohler Experience Center.
