The executive chairman of EcoWorld Development Group since 2015, and before that the president and CEO of SP Setia, Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin started his career as a banker. After five years, he walked away from banking to join a small property development company and later set up his own company.

A few years later, Liew joined SP Setia where in 1996, he was appointed president and CEO, a position he held for the next 18 years. During that time, he turned the company into an established international property player. He notably led a high-profile and successful bid for the historic Battersea Power Station site in South London, through a Malaysian consortium comprising of SP Setia, Sime Darby Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund Board.

After leaving SP Setia in 2014, Liew joined EcoWorld and was appointed non-independent and non-executive director and has been recently re-designated as executive chairman. At EcoWorld, he is credited for sealing an investment deal with Ballymore Group to develop three large-scale residential projects in London, which was awarded the MIPIM-UK Awards Inward Investment Deal of the Year for 2015.
