Li Bo

Founder, BoboLEE Cake

 

A graduate from Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo, Li Bo graduated with the highest grade in the school and was awarded a Le Cordon Bleu Medal. Bo was once mentored by famous wedding cake designer Maggie Austin, and together they completed a fondant cake for the 2014 Christmas banquet at the White House in 2014. In the same year, Bo founded BoboLEE Cake in a century-old building in the former French Concession in Shanghai from where he makes beautiful handmade cakes for moments of celebration. He has developed a signature cake style that combines fondant and mousse together. BoboLEE Cake has received wide praise for its cakes. Bo was invited by Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo to be one of four Asian culinary professionals filmed for a video by Dentsu.
